Having trained and worked at PwC, she has a track record of success in supporting high-growth enterprises to scale, utilising her professional background in financial management to secure investment and manage the growth journey. 

Professor Niall English

Professor Niall English is the lead-inventor of the electrostriction nanobubble generation technology that AquaB systems utilise. Niall is recognised globally as an expert in how external fields affect the ordering and behaviour of systems at the nanoscale and his research interests encompass nanoscience, electric-field effects, nanobubbles, carbon capture and gas hydrates. In addition to commercialising his nanobubble generation breakthrough at AquaB, Niall is a professor in Chemical Engineering at University College Dublin where he is investigating how electric-field-generated nanobubbles and nanodroplets can be optimised in their characteristics for use in water treatment, agriculture, aquaculture and carbon capture.

With a background in banking and finance, and a track record of driving business growth through collaboration and innovation, Elaine heads up the financial development of AquaB. She is involved in managing field trials, is supporting the commercialisation of the business and is overseeing pre-investment financial readiness.

A postdoctoral engineer with expertise in irrigation and manufacturing, Donagh oversees the development and production of AquaB’s nanobubble generators. To ensure AquaB’s product range is optimised for easy deployment, Donagh works closely with our business development team to design installations that are perfectly aligned with the needs of early adopter clients.
